It was a rather breezy day at Overstone, with the wind never feeling in your favour. Thankfully it meant that the rain showers ran through quickly. However, you did come off the course feeling like you’d been in a washing machine!

The Bogey Competition is always a challenge, but I ended up playing the Singles Final at the same time against Ty. We had an interesting rule debate when my ball disappeared in a flooded GUR bunker and we couldn’t find it. We ended up declaring it lost. The same thing happened to Ty later, so it all evened out in terms of the match.

Congratulations to Alex T, who scored a very impressive 5 Up to win the Bogey Competition. The reward as ever a trophy and a large playing cut.

On next to our final outing of the year. A change of venue for the pairs, it’s Kilworth this time around.

I suppose I should congratulate myself on winning the singles as well #modest.
