Welcome to Napton Golf Society 2026/27!
First off, I want to pay tribute to the excellent year that our first lady captain, Julie, has just
given us – a highly successful year and what a great Captains Charity Day. If I can come
somewhere close to matching that event I’ll be incredibly happy – a truly fantastic day.
Having worked with your committee for the last year or so I also want to recognise the continuous hard work, the passion and the diligence demonstrated by all involved.
I am very pleased to be your captain this year and am looking forward to what I hope to be a momentous year of golf.
The team has worked hard to bring you some great venues so we can all look forward to playing these and to catching up with old and new members.
I hope that my chosen charity for 2026, the Warwickshire and Northants Air Ambulance,
will meet with your approval and appeal to your support.
For me this choice is a head and heart decision having seen the unbelievable work that the Air ambulance does in my 34 years as a serving fire officer.
Finally, I am chuffed to introduce my vice-captain for the season, Andy Judd, who I am sure is well known to you all.
