A record 72 golfers turned out for Captain Julie’s Charity Day at Stoneleigh.

The weather was HOT!

Lee and Martin did an excellent job as ever of organising the competitions. The rest of us took on the challenge of trying to fill out the rather large scorecard correctly! With varying levels of success.

Congratulations to Pete J and Colin C who won the Charity Shield. Pipping Linda C and Sarah L on count back.

Congratulations also to Pete J ,Colin C, Jay G and Steve S who won the 4 ball.

The Yellow Ball was won by Alan E, Blake T, Jon T and Martyn S. Our Yellow ball challenge (such that it was), was ended when I lost the ball in the trees on the 7th!

The golf was followed by an excellent meal in the clubhouse, followed by the raffle and a very well supported auction.

The amounts raised on the day was an amazing £5,403.66.

The Raffle 1st prize was won by Dave Hawkes and the 2nd prize won by Danny Gleeson.
