The Society’s first visit to Silverstone since 2019 and unusually on a Thursday.

As with much of March/April this year, the weather was sunny and it was nice to be playing golf in just a polo shirt and not having to wade through mud! The background roar of the motor racing was a little different as well.

So, the format for the day was the infamous “Bogey” competition.

I sadly brought up the rear of the field on this one. But, congratulations to Linda C who came first with an impressive 3 Up, beating Pete J on Tied (level).

Nearest the pins were won by Alan, Tony and Lee.
