The NGS deal with the weather gods held strong again for our trip to Hatchford Brook. The journey over to the course was very wet, but as the first tee time arrived the rain stopped. We had 3 holes worth of rain late on, but in general the weather was pretty good. I always struggle to concentrate at Hatchford Brook. I find it so distracting being next door to the Birmingham Airport runway. I want to just watch the planes!
The course was in excellent condition considering the rain. The only thing letting it down was poor sand in the bunkers.
The scores on the day were high, with Tyrone winning with 39 points from Martin on 37 and Liam on 34.
