A return this year to a sunny, dry, but windy Tadmarton. Given the wet winter, the course was extremely dry. Unfortunately, due to problems that the club had in the hot 2018 summer, the fairways still need protecting from wear. To do this, we were asked to use small mats for all fairway shots. A little strange, but you got used to it and, it was essentially the same for everyone.

Julie kept up her fine Par 3 performances by claiming a nearest the pin. Unfortunately for her, her playing partners (including me), brought her down to our level with the putting on a rather tricky green. She failed to finish the hole!

Most of the scores on the day were in the twenties. However, Chris B (31) and John D (32) were runners up to Mark S with an impressive 36 points. Needless to say that his golf society handicap will be receiving a hefty cut!
